October 2008 Update

Wireless Broadband - Residential Service

Visual Link Internet has always tried to provide the highest quality service at affordable prices. Unfortunately, due to ever increasing costs of operations on our end, we now find it necessary to raise our subscriber pricing for our wireless broadband service for the first time. Effective October 1, 2008, wireless broadband pricing will increase for all new customers. Effective November 1, 2008, wireless broadband pricing will also increase for current customers. This increase will become effective as prepaid service expires or as contracts are fulfilled. Effective November 1, prices for current customers will increase to $49.95 for standard wireless broadband and $69.95 for enhanced wireless broadband service. The rate for current customers will be $10.00 per month less than the price for new customers. All wireless customers will be billed quarterly.

Once again this rate increase is unfortunate, but necessary, due to increasing costs of bringing wireless broadband Internet service to our customers. And even with this price increase Visual Link Internet's wireless broadband is still the best value in broadband service.

Tower Beam Business Class Service

Visual Link Internet is proud to announce our new TowerBeam Broadband Business Service. Up until now, their was no cost-effective method for ISP's to deliver business class Internet circuits, such as T1 or DS3 Data circuits do to the cost of last mile transport over the local phone company's fiber or copper lines. This has now changed with Visual Link Internet's new licensed frequencies. We now have the capability to deliver business class Internet circuits with full reliability and, in many cases, greater performance than typical leased circuits through the phone company. This service allows Visual Link Internet to offer a savings of up 50% on business class over typical phone company prices. Basically, we now do not have to pay the local phone company to use their lines or fiber to deliver T1 to DS3 business class data circuits. This reduces our costs, in some cases by as much as 50% - and of course we will be passing those savings on to the businesses in our service coverage area. Our TowerBeam Business Internet service is now available in the City of Winchester, and in Frederick, Clarke and Morgan counties. Wind and Solar Power Demonstration

Visual Link Internet will be demonstrating our new Wind and Solar products at our office at 2308 Middle Road in Winchester Thursday and Friday October 9th and 10th from 3:00 pm to 6 pm. We will have a full working demonstration of our Wind and Solar power solutions that we are offering in our area. This should be a fun and informative event and we look forward to seeing everyone.
